Welcome to the "Home and Community"
program.
Where do you live?

Maybe you live in metropolitan New York, in Kibbutz Giva't Hayim, in Yeruham or in Melbourne ...?
Did you ever think how much you could learn about yourself from the answer to this question?

In the program "Home and Community" you will meet people from other communities and different countries. You will discuss your personal identity and your group identity. You will travel into the past and explore your hometown and community.

In the program "Home and Community" you will discover that there are many things common to Jews in different communities and countries all over the world.

All units are structured as follows:

A Personal Journey to Myself

The journey begins by clarifying the elements of identity. These elements will be compared to those of other participants you will meet. This first journey will focus on the descriptions of the life in other communities.

How Other People See You.

My environment

Learn about life in your hometown and community and the hometown and the community of your partner-group. During your research-process you will collect details and data about your environment. You will visit the pages of other communities. At the end you will create a group page and choose a team to continue its development.
